KELLER 10LX-GM – Compact Pressure Transmitter Capsules for Use in Gas Volume Correctors

With the new 10LXrs-GM, 10LXt-GM and 10LXiic-GM series, KELLER Pressure is introducing pressure transmitter capsules developed specially for gas meter applications. They combine maximum accuracy with a compact design and are ideal for use in smart gas meters or electronic volume correctors (EVC).
The pressure transmitter modules communicate via either an RS485 (10LXrs-GM), TTL (10LXt-GM), or I2C interface (10LXiic-GM). They are characterised by their low power consumption and easy integration into existing systems. This means they meet the typical requirements for battery-operated smart meter applications.
A further decisive factor for the gas meter market is that pressure transmitter modules are specified to %RDG (%Reading = total error
proportional to the current measured value) according to EN 12405. The requirements of this standard ensure that the measurement accuracy is precisely adapted to the needs of gas meters and volume converters.
The piezoresistive measurement technology ensures exact recording of even the smallest pressure differences – a basic requirement for reliable measurement and calculation of gas volumes. Thanks to their optimised design, the sensors can be easily integrated into existing meter designs, enabling classic gas meters to be efficiently upgraded to the smart meter standard.
The combination of high long-term stability, low current consumption and robust housing make the 10LXrs-GM, 10LXt-GM and 10LXiic-GM series future-proof key components in gas measurement technology.
