KELLER Pressure offers a desiccant tube for level probes and pressure transmitters with an atmospheric pressure reference. The transparent capsule containing the desiccant is attached directly to the reference tube of the connection cable to trap water vapour and keep it away from the internal sensor components. This is particularly recommended for use in high-humidity environments. The desiccant tube must be replaced regularly, as the desiccant becomes saturated over time and loses its effectiveness. The colour then changes from blue (dry) to pink (saturated).
