Training Days at KELLER Pressure
18. března 2021

My name is Alexander Sagarra and I’m 14 years old. Over three days I took part in a trial apprenticeship at KELLER Pressure.
On Tuesday at 8 am I started the day at human resources and afterwards from 8.30 to 10 am went I to freight forwarding. There, the parcels are packed and then shipped. From 10 to 12 am I was allowed to take a tour of the company where I could see all the steps of the production, and which I found interesting and exciting. In the afternoon from 1.30 to 4.30 pm I was in the mechanical production department. I was allowed to help with the individual steps – I particularly liked this.
On Thursday morning I visited the marketing department, where they showed me how the website is constructed and in which applications the KELLER Pressure products are installed. In the afternoon from 1.30 to 3.15 pm I went to the product management and they showed me various pressure gauges and how they work. After that I went from 3.15 to 4.30 pm to quality management, where I could inspect defective products, and find out, why they were broken.
On Friday, I was in the accounting department from 8 to 12 pm. I entered invoices there and I also had to check whether all the invoices that had to be sent had really been sent. From 1.30 to 4 pm was I in the Lasering department. There I had to put the housing parts in a tray and then place them in the laser machine. Afterwards, you have to programme the machine and it does its work. At the end, I was allowed to programme something myself on the laser machine and take it home with me.
I am very happy that I was able to spend these three days at KELLER Pressure, because I learned a lot of things and the employees I worked with were very friendly.
