Precision Meets Durability: The New Digital Pressure Gauge for Demanding Applications
11. septembre 2026

Pressure measurement has long evolved beyond simply reading a measured value. In laboratory environments, industrial plants, and hydraulic systems, pressure profiles must be analyzed, pressure losses detected, and measurement data documented in a traceable manner. Whether during system commissioning, leak testing, or calibration applications, it is often pressure peaks, the smallest pressure changes, or long-term trends that provide crucial insights.
The LEO Ultimate helps users handle complex pressure measurement tasks efficiently with a single device. This article explores the capabilities of its various measurement modes and shows how they can be applied to common pressure measurement challenges.
Highest accuracy up to 0,01 %FS for reliable measurement results
High measurement accuracy is essential for reliable pressure measurements. Where even the smallest pressure deviations are significant, measured values must be recorded precisely, reproducibly, and with long-term stability. With an accuracy of up to ± 0,01 %FS, the LEO Ultimate is suitable for critical measurement tasks in laboratories, calibration applications, and industrial processes.
Proven KELLER pressure sensor technology ensures high long-term stability and delivers reliable measurement results even in demanding applications. This allows pressure systems to be precisely monitored and measurement data to be documented in a traceable manner.
Intelligent Measurement Modes for Every Application
Depending on the application, different requirements are placed on a digital pressure gauge. As a multifunctional measuring instrument, the LEO Ultimate combines numerous analysis, monitoring, and recording functions in a single device.
One special feature is the ability to flexibly switch between absolute and relative pressure.
The integrated modes assist users in analyzing pressure trends, detecting leaks, and reliably monitoring processes.
The Available Modes and Their Applications
Mode
Min/Max
Display on Device
Function Description
Automatically stores the lowest and highest measured pressure values.

Typical Application
Continuously displays the min/max values during pressure measurement and, thanks to the measurement history display, ensures greater transparency and safety throughout the process.
Mode
Peak
Display on Device
Function Description
Detects short-term pressure spikes thanks to an increased sampling rate.

Typical Application
In systems with high-frequency pressure peaks, the standard Min./Max. function may not be sufficient when used with the selected measurement rate. The Peak function analyzes the pressure signal at a significantly higher speed, capturing pressure peaks with a duration of as little as 0.6 ms. Such peaks typically occur in closed hydraulic and pneumatic systems, for example during rapid valve actuation, switching operations, pump events, and pressure surges.
The detected peaks are displayed on the instrument as Min./Max. values. When data logging is enabled, the corresponding pressure peak pair for each logging interval is also recorded and stored as an envelope curve.
Mode
LEAK
Display on Device
Display after the Measurement Period Ends:
Function Description
Detects pressure losses over a defined period and assists with leak tests.

Typical Application
The LEAK function, for example, assists service technicians during the commissioning of pressure vessels or supply pipelines. Over a preset period, the LEO Ultimate monitors the pressure loss, enabling a quick assessment of leak tightness. The measurement results can be recorded and documented as needed.
Mode
Rate
Display on Device
Function Description
The rate function displays the average rate of change in pressure over a predefined time interval.

Typical Application
During the calibration of pressure gauges, the rate measurement can be used to monitor pressure stability. As soon as the rate of change in pressure falls below a defined threshold, the calibration pressure is considered stable and the measured value can be recorded.
Mode
Alarm
Display on Device

Function Description
Monitors defined limit values and issues a warning in the event of critical conditions.

Typical Application
In production facilities, an alarm sounds when line pressure is too low. This allows quality issues or downtime in pneumatic systems to be detected early.
Greater transparency through integrated data logging
In addition to each measurement mode, the data logger can be activated simultaneously. It records pressure and temperature values directly in the device, enabling complete documentation of measurements. This is particularly advantageous during leak tests on piping, tanks, or hydraulic systems, where pressure trends must be documented over a defined period. The recorded data can then be conveniently retrieved via USB-C or Bluetooth for further analysis.

Designed for Demanding Environments
The rugged metal housing, IP67 protection rating, and high resistance to shock and vibration ensure reliable measurement results even under demanding conditions. Despite its ruggedness, operation remains simple: the large, backlit display, high-quality buttons with haptic feedback, and intuitive menu navigation enable fast and reliable handling, even in the field.
Conclusion
The LEO Ultimate combines the highest measurement precision, intelligent measurement functions, and proven KELLER Pressure quality in a single device. Thanks to its data logger, USB-C and Bluetooth connectivity, and intuitive operation, it helps users perform pressure measurements efficiently, reliably, and transparently. In short: a digital pressure gauge for anyone who doesn’t want to compromise on precision and practicality.
